Nice Cookies

My parents are redoing the basement, and they want to install some pot lights (sp?) in the ceiling, and i am wondering if you guys know of any sites that sell these lights for cheaper than a store? And if so, any recommendations?

They also need the harness (?) for the lights.

WTF is a "pot light"? Bics and matches worked for my recreational smoke back in the day, but I sense you’re seeking something different.

Well you’re gonna want to use High Intensity Discharge lights, metal halide for the vegetation cycle and high pressure sodium for the flowering, make sure that your clones or seedlings are under a gentle 100w-ish CFL light bath….

I picked up a box of 12 6" cans for $72 a couple of months back.

you can usually buy them in bundles at home depot and save quite a bit of money

they were selling 8 for 80$ here…gu50 bulbs

just one thing I should mention , not sure if you took it into consideration or not, but they are horrible on power consumption and you need a lot (ideally every 3 feet if it’s an 8 feet ceiling)…2 feet away from the walls/corners…

they have energy saver ones but the housing is a lot bigger

also if the ceilign is insulated, BOX THEM UP…they generate a ton of heat
