Washing machine broke, help!
0I have an old whirlpool that stopped draining the water, and I’m guessing it isn’t doing a spin cycle because it can’t drain the water. I’m in the process of trying to get stuff out of the way so I can look at drain tube, but I think the pump must have just gone out. Is there any sort of valve I can expect to find inside to help drain this thing? Or am I going to have to stick a hose down there and syphon it out?
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.
You should be able to manually drain it with the drain hose. There should be a drain pump filter on the pump itself that once found will allow you to manually open the pump and drain through the hose and then check for any blockages.
