any recipies that use lots of onions?

my parents gave me a 5lb bag of onions and I know I’m not going to be able to use them all before they spoil. any recipies that use lots of onions?
How about eating just the onion?

Preheat oven to 350F. Cut the ends off of the onion, then in half. Mix bread crumbs with olive oil just enough for them to get mangled up. Add ogreano. Then mix it until firm. Put some butter on the onions, then the bread crumbs. Then put some paramesen cheese on top. Bake for 30-45 mins.
Slice the onions, cook on low heat in olive oil until they carmelize. Toss in a dash of rice wine vinegar and some salt and pepper. Chop up a cup of fresh cranberries and saute those too. Let that cool a bit, then mix it up with some grated romano or mozza cheese. Spoon all this onto melba toast (or your choice of crackers) and bake under a broiler until the cheese bubbles.

Having a pool put in…Lots of pics 56k…you will be hosed.

Thought you guys might want to see the pics of the process so far. The yard isn’t huge so we went with a 30×18 play pool (4-5-4). It will have a waterfall, spa, and tanning ledge. The coping will be oklahoma flagstone, I don’t remember the name of the tile, but it is a natural loooking tile, and the decking will be stampcrete in the shape of flagstone. The finish on the pool will be Midnight Blue Pebble Tec.

I’m not going to post the layout pictures as they are really hard to see. The layout was sprayed in orange and the sun was bright.

Homeowners/Investors – some question on home value

Just bought a "real" home after owning a townhouse for two years. It’s a 2200 sq ft hip roof colonial, built in 1988. Structurally in great shape, albeit a bit dated. We’ve painted most of it since June, working on countertops and flooring now. Stainless appliances are in

My question has to do with some other modifications I want to do, and how they’ll affect the value of the home. We have a three week old son, and I figure we’ll have another child here in a few years, then stay a few years past that.

now THIS is how you make a cheap, easy, and healty dinner. **PICS**

made a little ‘orange chicken’ stirfry last night. VERY simple.

take 2-3 boneless/skinless chicken breasts – cut ’em up into ~1" cubes. Marinate them with 2 tbsp rice wine, and 2 tbsp corn starch. let ’em marinate for 30 minutes.

sauce: ~1/2cup OJ, 2tbsp soy sauce, 1tsp sesame oil (yum), 2tsp brown sugar, 1tsp chili oil or flakes. I put a tbsp of corn starch in the sauce as well – really helps to thicken it up. If you like more orange flavor (this just has a hint of orange), put some orange marmelade in the sauce. that’ll really kick it up a notch

Have you ever ate or seen

such big pieces of meat?

In a city near the place where iam living (in germany) is a resturant where you can eat big meals. The thing on the pic is called Schnitzel in germany and austria and it is a piece of meat with a little bit crunchy coat. On the schnitzel is a mushroom sauce. The Schnitzel on this picture has a weight between 1,3 and 1,5 kilograms and me and my friend tried to eat 1 (me one, he one) but i think we took 600 grams of meat home because we were so fully. Do you ate such big meals too or do you know places where you can get this sizes? Iam interested in big burgers etc. too. Pictures would be really nice.

Bourbon v.EDU

I feel it necessary to get some FACTS out there pertaining to the delicious spirit known as Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Some people say they don’t like it but have only drunk shitty ass Jim Beam white label in high school or college! What the mother fuck?!? I’ve even heard some people refer to bourbon as "rot gut!" This hurts me deeply. May the ignorant souls who slander bourbon burn in eternal hell! Everyone is entitled to their own opinion however there are many misconceptions about America’s native spirit. I have decided to take time to re-educate the idiot masses in hopes that whoever reads this at least gains a small understanding of this drink. I don’t expect everyone to love bourbon after reading this, however you will probably be surprised about some of what you learn.

What Are You Reading??? v.New

I just finished The Sun Also Rises by Hemingway
I just picked up for whom the bell tolls
I also wanted to get Haunted by that fight club guy
The Sun Also Rises was great.

Just finished Haunted. I only found it mediocore. Maybe I was expecting too much. Some of the short stories were really well done, but the overall connecting story did nothing for me.

Rereading Huxley’s Brave New World at the moment.
Boy’s Life by Robert R. McCammon
