Painting help.

Just a quick question. Is there a primer that can be used to stop the spread of mold? Where my mom’s house is there was a water leak that was fixed. But I want to put something up so to make sure that nothing comes back.

I don’t know about stopping the spread of mold (I figure it’s best to kill all of it first), but for bathrooms and kitchens, I like using Kilz.

"Our line of primers offers superior color coverage, mildew resistance and tough stain and odor blocking in fast-drying, easy-to-apply formulas for both interior and exterior applications."

That sounds like what I was looking for thanks.

It will resist it but not stop it if it is already present. Any drywall damaged in a water leak should be replaced IMO.
