Nice Cookies

I can’t seem to keep my house straight. Its not dirty (trash, moldy shit, pizza boxes) Its just so dam cluttered . Its a 2k sq ft house; me, wife ,2 dogs and a 4 year old.

Any suggestion on how to organize your house?

start throwing shit away. I also like the 1-year box shit, where you box clutter up, and if you don’t touch it for a year you drop it off at some charity or trash it.
Definitely agree with that. We’re in the process of moving, and it’s amazing how much clutter we had in a 1,000 square foot single bedroom apartment. I threw out a whole bunch of shit that we hadn’t used in a while. It makes more of a difference than anything else you can do.

except you take that charity box and you turn it into a garage sale box. and you add anything that makes you go "hmmm…i didnt know i had this" or "hmmm….so this is where it is". you can make tons of money off of stuff you spent 3-4 times on
The shoebox-size (and larger) clear plastic boxes from Container store are fucking for organizing all your crap so you can find it. Label them with some adhesive labels and get to organizing. I have about 70 or so of these:

I need to go to the Container Store. I think I would be in organizer heaven. It’s a shame I’m not organized though…I just love the thought of being organized

To be honest, I was actually pretty disorganized until I went to the container store and bought those boxes. I know it sounds kinda like a corny infomercial, but it really made a huge difference. I’m still not perfect, but at least I’m a lot neater and can find stuff WAY easier.
