Italian pasta recipes

i’m new to cooking for myself, and I particularly enjoy cooking pasta. what are some really tasty pasta recipes that you have all come across? i have a real taste for things such as olives and capers, by the way, so i don’t mind those at all.

any suggestions?
Fusili with Tuna Marinara:

Drain 1 can of Chunk-Light tuna in water, be sure to remove as much water as possible, then marinade it in about two tbsp of extra virgin olive oil, the juice of half a lemon (bottled juice will do if that’s all you’ve got) a pinch of salt, and a pinch of pepper

Boil Fusili pasta (about enough for two hungry people) in salted water until Al-Dente (just slightly chewy), Meanwhile:

In a large frying pan Saute’ two cloves of chopped garlic, and one large chopped shallot in 2 tsp of pure olive oil (extra virgin works, but the flavor becomes a bit muddy from frying, pure is best for frying pans)
When the Garlic and shallots begin to soften add one can of crushed tomatoes to the pan and place it on medium-low heat. Add in the zest from your lemon (if you don’t have fresh, dried citrus zest works, or just leave it out, fresh zest is best though). Also add in between 10 and 16 finely chopped capers, and about a tbsp of basil, dried or fresh, as well as salt and pepper to taste. Let the mixture simmer while the pasta finishes cooking.

Once the pasta is finished drain it, then add first the tuna, and then the pasta directly to the frying pan, stir everything around, and divide onto plates.

Garnish with Parmesan Cheese (Parmigianno Reggiano works best) and maybe some chopped parsley. Enjoy.

The ingredients are cheap, the method is simple, and all of the proportions are basically to taste. Get this one down right and other pasta dishes should come fairly easy. Also, if you use whole wheat pasta the whole thing is pretty darn healthy.
