How to clean silicone utensils

0

I have pink kitchenaid silicone utensils and used them to make curry, and they are now stained yellowish. Washing alone does not get it off. Anyone know any tricks to get rid of this and make it pink again?
Good luck. Try soaking in a bleach solution, but curry usually stains things for good.
Yeah that curry probably isn’t going to come out. Best bet is bleach like Laurel said. I made satay the other night and my fingernails are yellow from the spices. I look totally diseased hahah.

I made chicken stock with a little turmeric in it a couple weeks ago (I like the coloring it gives the stock), and when I scrubbed out the pan with my soap dispensing scrub brush, it stained my brush yellow and I couldn’t get it clean, so I need to go back to LnT to get another few heads for that puppy.
Curry stains everything.
I don’t think you’ll be too successful getting those utensils clean again.
Try soaking it in white vinegar and baking soda or some lemon juice.
Commercial grade Rubbermaid silicone spats (red handle) won’t stain from tumeric or curry powder.
I use red blue and green silicone instruments and none of them have stained, even when I made curry. But I don’t use white ones.
