Fight Club – Palahniuk

I was wondering if anyone had a copy of Fight Club in .pdf or .txt format. I’m laid up due to knee surgery and can’t drive or walk to the local library to grab a copy. Finals week is coming up and i could definitely use the distraction from studying and the knee. Thanks
Also, if anyone has read any other books by Palahniuk? Which ones are worth reading?

Diary was great.

Diary was great.

Are you joking? Diary sucked ass. Palahniuk has really gone downhill since writing Stranger than Fiction – both Diary and Haunted were questionable at best.

Survivor, Fight Club, and Choke are his best books, in that order.

And sadly, no, I do not have anything of his as an e-book.

mmm..Diary was written before Stranger than Fiction.

He was here a few years ago, and explained Diary as an outright, unabashed tribute to Rosemary’s Baby and The Wicker Man. I don’t know if that gives it a different context for you — what didn’t you like about it?

I had all of my books of his loaned out at the time of that appearance, so I brought my copy of "Guts" that ran in Playboy. I was the only person there with a Playboy in hand

I liked diary. As a painter/artist it struck a weird chord with me that I enjoyed very much.

I loved "invisible monters" but Choke is by far my fave.

funny, i felt the same because i work in the trades. often i have wanted to bury those kinds of hate-rooms

Really? Always thought STF came out first. Weird.

Really, while that makes a lot of sense (that it’s a tribute to those 2 stories, particularly the latter), it doesn’t help at all. The ending, to me, just felt forced. It didn’t close like Fight Club or Survivor did, naturally yet chaotically – it instead seemed like he couldn’t find a way to end it and so he took the cheap route. It’s been awhile since I’ve read it, and haven’t really had a want to pick it back up, wish I could explain better.
Invisible Monsters is really good. I have mixed feelings about Diary. Choke, of course, is excellent.

Has anyone read his newest, Rant, yet? I just picked it up the other day and I’m loving it so far. It’s written as an oral biography. It’s great.

I just found an old copy of Rosemary’s Baby among all my shitty paperbacks. Great timing, no? I don’t know why I didn’t rush to re-read it right after he said that.

I’m not sure if Wicker Man was a book first. If so, I’ll probably try to read all three.
Wicker Man was a movie, not a book, I think. The Nick Cage one was a remake, though, the original is old

I kind of remember it. Edward Woodward played the fool, right?
Rosemary’s Baby was a trippy book

I wish I hadn’t seen the film. I kept picturing everything as it was on screen
if you still need it i should have it on my other computer, throw me some more names and i’ll try to see if i have them
Rant isn’t that good.
Choke is a pisser.
I’ve re-read it several times.
i just finished survivor. Amazing book, I could barely put it down for two days. It reminded me a lot of fight club, he shares a lot of themes, and even some lines between the two. Going to start Invisible Monsters some time soon, then Choke. After that I’m going to need to buy more books
noone mentioned lullaby, it’s not my fave but worth the read. Does anyone know the name of his newest book?
im reading rant right now.

survivor and fight club are both definite must reads as far as im concerned

and by the way the pdf for fightclub (and other chuck books) is up on oink

hoew is rant?
I really liked Lullaby, and I thought Diary was alright. Not all that spectacular in my opinion.

I haven’t gotten around to reading Choke or Fight Club, but those are the ones that I’ve wanted to read most. I’ve just never been able to get my hands on them, so if anyone has either in .pdf format that would be great!
