Extra room..
I have an extra room in my new house, and I don’t know what to do with it. Room measures 10.5 x 12.5. Room is great because it has a closet, and double doors. Also has a normal sized window, and is featured at the front of the house.
Things I’ve considered:
1. Home Theater Room. Ruled this out because I’d rather ramp up the great room. We spend all our time in this room, and would rather enjoy quality home theater here. Budget was another concern.
2. Game Room. Haven’t quite ruled this out, but I’m limited due to size. Pool table is out (could MAYBE fit a 6ft table with 36" cues).
3. Home office. Don’t really need it?? I use my macbook pro laptop 99% of the time, and don’t need the desk.
Any suggestions, home experts??
Make it your man library. Big desk facing the door, wood paneling, bar cabinet, books, computer, porno stash, etc…
I’ve always wanted a library
Me to. I have the BIG wooden desk the books, computer and porno, just need the wood paneling. I have a room for it and it even has a fireplace. Now I just need to convince the wife.
we’re making our extra room into an english library… lost of books, red walls, leather and wood furniture…. it’s gonna be awesome.

Not a bad idea, I suppose. Not high on my list, though.
