Hey everyone
I’m working on a presentation of Agatha Christie’s book "Evil Under The Sun". I’m making an After Effects project which is a 3D image slideshow. I know what to do, but I’m looking for ideas. Credit will be given at the end of the project of course.
I’m also looking for some images to add to the slideshow. Like images of characters, places or objects.
Thanks
Aryan~
I’m considering buying a house in NJ. I’m trying to sort out this whole property tax thing because this house has taxes that are much higher than any other house in the same price range. Actually, it has higher taxes than any other house listed up to $100k higher by about $2000.
The house is listed for $499k. There are 15 houses between $450k and $600k. The 2 houses at $599k have yearly taxes at $11,837 and $10,387. The house at $499k is $11,082 for taxes. Every other house in that price range is between $5000 and $9500/year in taxes.
i like this exact coloring/style. i know the kitchen won’t be exactly the same as this. but anyone experienced in this field? not doing any of the work myself obv.
Well I know that stove is almost ten thousand dollars. If your talking about about getting new cabinets and tops, marble tile, and top of line appliances, your looking at tens of thousands of dollars.
most expensive thing is floor and appliances. the cabinets themselves look builder grade
You can get a similar look for a lot less, but there are a lot of variables involved that directly affect cost. You would need to determine the exact appliances, the quality of cabinets and countertops you want, and the floor material you want in order to get a better idea of cost.
hopefully this is the place for this.
i’m trying to figure out what to do with my yard this year. thinking about redoing the flower beds which were completely overgrown when i bought the house this year as well as add some more.
i saw some cool ornamental grass while i was out in cali last year and was hoping i could get it to grow here. It looks something like this.
it seemed like it was planted all around the bay and i remember it being fairly windy there when i was jogging at night. i’m kind of on top of a hill right now and was wondering if anyone knows how smaller clumps of this will hold up to the wind. i’m hoping to use something like it to screen out some of the neighboors yards a little. if this is a horrible idea would you have any other suggestions?
Basically, my landlord did a total hackjob of the floors before we moved in (didn’t prep, used WAY too much gloss/varnish), so, of course, it started coming up in certain areas.
Does anyone know how I could make it look a bit better, so they don’t try to rob us out of our security deposit? The floor isn’t scratched at all, just the absurd about of varnish is chipping in certain areas.
This is why you go through the entire place with the landlord BEFORE you move in and make a list of all things that are wrong with the place, which both of you sign off on, so that you don’t get screwed over on your security deposit for pre-existing problems.
So each year I take on 1 major project and several smaller ones. This year my daughters room wil get made over.
So, that said, I need some ideas. she is 8 now, but I want this to be something functional for years to come. I rather budget concious items but will diy where I can. I did pull a new electrical feed up to her room last year. Her walls and ceiling will come down and carpeting removed. I am adding all new circuiting in the room and insulation. I am also thinking:
So it looks like my new place has a non-vented kitchen ventilation tripping smoke detector and coating appliances and furniture with grease when cooking greasy food.
Has anyone upgraded from non-vented kitchen exhaust to vented kitchen exhaust? Looking for average cost to have this done (bet it’ll cost me an arm and a leg).
Or maybe I just have a crappy non-vented kitchen hood…?
I would assume if there is a hood it would be venting to the outside. The filter may have never been cleaned and isn’t allowing proper venting or there could be a blockage somewhere.
my boyfriend recently developed an interest in reading. since i love reading i tried to suggest him some books but i soon realized that he is more interested in biographies.
he is 23 years old and going though a hard time in his life. trouble with family and recently took a break from college.
i have not read many biographies and want to suggest him something that will inspire him and gain some perspective in life. something that is not too heave to read.
i would really appreciate some suggestions.
