I feel it necessary to get some FACTS out there pertaining to the delicious spirit known as Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Some people say they don’t like it but have only drunk shitty ass Jim Beam white label in high school or college! What the mother fuck?!? I’ve even heard some people refer to bourbon as "rot gut!" This hurts me deeply. May the ignorant souls who slander bourbon burn in eternal hell! Everyone is entitled to their own opinion however there are many misconceptions about America’s native spirit. I have decided to take time to re-educate the idiot masses in hopes that whoever reads this at least gains a small understanding of this drink. I don’t expect everyone to love bourbon after reading this, however you will probably be surprised about some of what you learn.

I have an old whirlpool that stopped draining the water, and I’m guessing it isn’t doing a spin cycle because it can’t drain the water. I’m in the process of trying to get stuff out of the way so I can look at drain tube, but I think the pump must have just gone out. Is there any sort of valve I can expect to find inside to help drain this thing? Or am I going to have to stick a hose down there and syphon it out?
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.
You should be able to manually drain it with the drain hose. There should be a drain pump filter on the pump itself that once found will allow you to manually open the pump and drain through the hose and then check for any blockages.

for the basement window
how deep do I have to dig before I put crush stone? do I have to go all the way down and tie into the existing drainage? should I put anything up on the foundaiton wall? tar or a plastic covering of sorts? I mean it’s got nothing now
holla back
forgot to mention
the window is about 2 inches above ground now
im about to partake in this as well, id like to know the answer as well.

we are gonna change our main sewer pipe on our house and a contractor suggested us to use ‘trenchless pipeing’ wich is a new way of installing some kind of linear material to replace our old pipes, is this good? i would rather replace it with some new plastic pipes, but this guy seems to tell me its the new way of doing it without digging up our yard.
They use flexible polyethelene pipe and pull it through your existing pipe. Probably cheaper and easier but sounds more like a shortcut for the contractors. I dunno much about it though.

Yeahhhh, so I’m in the process of redoing our bathroom, and I’m a gnat’s pube hair away from hiring Mexicans from Home Depot to redo it. Anyways, the original douchebags used a flat paint in the bathroom, and of course it started peeling off the wall. I figured I could just sand it, prime it, and paint it. Well, now that the paint is dry, it looks like complete dog shit, all uneven from where the old paint was and where it flaked off. Do I have to basically sand the entire thing down and start over, or is there any other options?

My backyard is a mess, we have patches of grass and alot of trees which shade the yard and make it hard for anything to grow. Does anyone have any suggestions on what we could do to make it look a bit nicer?
I will post pics tonight
watch "garden police" on sundays. Its kinda lame but they do some really cool stuff on it.

There is an in and out vibrating sounds coming from the attic….i’ve pin pointed it to the ceiling of my second floor bathroom and oddly enough right under the boiler……The boiler is located up in the attic….could it be the boiler…any of you ever experience this?
My hot water tank would bang like crazy. I got a section of appliance hose and ran it to the drain (basement), hooked it up to the relief valve and opened it. Got the excess air out of the tank that was causing my problem.

i didnt find that very helpful. ive always been told to look for the ugly ones.

My window ledges and trim around my house are all a basic wooden stained color.
If I wanted them all to be white, would it look tacky for me to sand them all down and paint them?
just prime and paint, but, once you paint em, itll be near impossible to bring back the natural beauty of the wood. (assuming its real wood under the ‘stain color’)
yeah, its not really that hard to paint over wood, no matter what it looks like
