got any tips?
i was thinking of throwing in snap peas and carrots, maybe a few other ingredients. i’m pretty open to any ideas. can it be done in a wok? after loving it so much for all these years in restraunts, i realized i’ve never made it at home and have no idea how to even attempt it.
Is this my first post?
If you’re gonna put snap peas and carrots in it, you might as well save yourself the trouble and go to Panda Express.
Heat some sesame oil in a wok (or big pan). Throw in some onion and minced garlic (don’t let the garlic burn). Throw in left over rice (new rice gives you moist mushy fried rice). Let it sit till the rice gets a little crusty. Add a little soy sauce and a little salt. Throw in some chopped kim chi & juice and whatever left over meats (kalbi) / veggies (chopped green beans please) you have laying around in your fridge. Put an egg in there if you’d like.

The owner/chef is Tom Colicchio the host of "Top Chef". The reason we get to go is that my gf’s friend got a job and is allowed to invite 2 friends/family to eat for free on opening night. Anything I should do/try for the big event?
What did you think? I have been to Gramercy Tavern back in the day and was impressed.

Anyone else using I just signed up today, seems cool so far.
For anyone curious, you list your used books you’re willing to ship out, and earn credits for each book shipped. You can then use those credits to get books you want. 1 credit = 1 book. They have it where you get 3 free credits if you list 9 books. I’ve put up about 30 this afternoon, and had 5 requests for books already, with 5 of my other books on people’s wishlists. Using the site is free, the only thing you pay for is when you ship your books out to whoever want them. Seems like a good way to read books on the cheap.

When my dog was a puppy he completely shredded a section of carpet in my basement. He pulled it up, tore holes on the edges and shredded the padding underneath. Is this fixable or do I have to recarpet my entire basement? Here’s a bad pic of the damage. You can see where it’s torn along the edge. I can basically uncover a section that’s about 8′x8′.
Is there a cheap way to fix this?
If you can find the same exact carpet you can replace the section and try to make the seam really tight. There’s a seam in our livingroom carpet because the room is wider than the width carpet is sold, it’s barely noticeable. That however was done by pros.
