Suggestion on a low cost Table Saw

0

I’m working on a few projects for my apartment, like building a 75g Aquarium stand.

I was going to buy a Circular saw, but then I thought that a Table saw would be alot more useful.

I could use some suggestions or advice. My limit is about $200 new or used. If I can’t get a table saw that’s decent for that much I’ll just get a cheapo Circular saw.

Suggestions?
I’d recommend just going to your local home depot, lowes, sears etc… and seeing what they have in your price range. They usually have all the models on display so you can check them out real good and find what you like that will do the job you need to do. I’d take a radial arm saw over a table saw anyday but I can’t afford one so I have a table saw. Mitre saws are also pretty handy and very easy to use. Circular saw is your best bet for cutting large pieces of plywood.

keeping in mind we’re in cold weather, but here’s what we’re talking about doing

for the walls, take down everything here now, keeping the structural stuff obviously, and insulate the walls in the following:
-concrete paint that prevents moisture, he mentioned it, never heard of it, will look into it

shish kabob recipes?

0

Anyone have a good one? My brother makes some mean kabobs but he said not to let them marinate more than 5 hours with his recipe because the onions will soak into the meat too much. I wanted to prep them on Friday afternoon before leaving for a canoe trip and then cook them Saturday at the camp site so I don’t have to spend time prepping them there, and that’s a lot more than 5 hours of marinating.

In case anyone wants to try his recipe, it’s super simple. Fill bowl with vinegar and toss the cubed meat in. You don’t have to let it soak in long. Take meat out and layer it in a pot then salt and pepper. Take fresh onion rings and squeeze the juice out on the meat then lay the rings on the meat. Make next layer of meat and repeat salt, pepper, onions. Marinate for a couple hours and cook.

Halupki – Recipe

0

Polock food – well, czech/eastern european.

My mom kicked it a few years ago and one of the things I inherited is a great box of recipes. If anyone likes them, I have breads and other stuff too. Much is ethnic, some is cookies and stuff, and some is completely plain – such as breaded pork chops.

I have to try everything to make sure the recipes are ok, but if anyone is pining away for something specific, I might have something of use. (like soft pretzels.)

Anyhow – halupki.

stainless steel grill

0

i need some help finding a 4 burner stainless steel grill that can do rotisserie for around the price of 350$ or less. something of decent quality. any help would be appreciated
for a few bucks more you can get a weber genesis or you should go to sears and check out their sears/kenmore line. very highly rated by professionals and normal people. and are you sure youre going to need a rotisserie? most people buy extra gadgets and stuff and never use them because they are too complicated or not very efficient

JB Weld crew?

If I have a crack in a sterling silver ring. Would it be possible to JB Weld it, then just file it down and have it fixed?

It has sentimental value to me, so I’d like to fix it. But it’s only worth ~$30 or so and I think if I took it to a jeweler for repair they would give me the routine.

Mixed Drinks, Help!

0

So my new girlfriend likes mixed alcoholic drinks. What are some good ones that have a "tropical or fruity" flavor? She doesn’t like rum either..Suggestions please?
what kinda liquor does she like?

i thought most "fruity" drinks were made with rum
The flavored Absoluts, like Kurant or Citron, are pretty good with sodas or flavored water.
Margarita, Frozen Daquiri, Fuzzy Navel, Cosmopolitan…….
what does "doesn’t like rum" mean? Is it the taste, because rum mixed drinks certainly don’t taste like rum. However, if she’s allergic, that’s a suitable answer. Otherwise she’s talking out her ass My wife doesn’t like the taste of rum either, but she likes rum mixed drinks fine.
