Hello,
I am hosting a wine tasting, and I am a complete amateur when it comes to wine, so please help me with the order I should follow when serving these wines:
Sauvignon Blanc
Chardonnay
Pinot Noir
Merlot
Cabernet Sauvignon
Syrah
Riesling
Pinot Grigio
Zinfandel
Thank you so much for your help!!
it depends on the brand of the wine, as flavors can change with each grape depending on how its made. for example, i put riesling last assuming it was a very sweet wine, and chardonnay after pinot assuming its aged on oak, otherwise, the pinot grigio could be more fruity and that might throw off the flavors from the chardonnay.

I wanted to try something new so I took my chocolate chip cookie a modded it a bit. The inspiration comes from Ben and Jerry’s Chunky Monkey ice cream. The recipe below is just how I made the cookies but next time I may up the banana extract to 1 1/2 tablespoons.
Chunky Monkey Cookie Recipe
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 egg
1 tablespoon banana extract
1/2 teaspoon baking soda

I’m looking for something like this but I’m not really sure what you would call it. Like a club or lounge chair or just a single chair? I found it on a furniture store site but they just use the collection names. Thanks
or
Thanks, thats what I was thinking but I wasn’t coming up with as many as I thought I would.
I’ve always called them "Chair and a half."

So I bought a apartment-turned-condo a while back, and once I moved in I noticed something wrong with the faucet in the bathtub. It’s one of those pull out to turn on, twist to adjust temperature ones. I noticed sometimes when I’d push it to turn off the flow, I’d still get a trickle of water coming out. Upon closer inspection, I noticed the metal surround thing around the knob was quite a bit bent … at that point I had a limited home warranty, and called in a plumber. He took things apart, hmm’ing and ah’ing the entire time. Turns out, the contractors who refurnished the tub had used a valve (I guess that’s what it’s called, the metal part that connects to the pipe in the wall that controls the water flow) that was too short for the depth of the wall/tub. So to counteract this, they banged on the surround to try and get the knob to recess as far as possible to make it not leak. At one point I bought a new knob and surround to try and fix things, but noticed that if I installed it by the instructions and screwed the knob in all the way, the water was on like half-way all the time. Instead of being flush with the surround just outside the wall, it’s like it needed to be flush with like half an inch into the wall.

Recently the wife and I just converted a den/office/bedroom into a formal dining room at the front of the house. Project included laminate flooring, new furniture, crown molding, and chair rail.
Also in this room is a closet - roughly 2 ft deep, 5 ft or so wide. Presently has accordian doors.
My overall goal would be to turn this closet into a humidor and wine cellar, with some recessed lighting and a frosted door.
What do you guys think? Any links? Any resources? This would be completely new to me. I would need to refinish the closet with whichever wood is required (Spanish Cedar?), and worry about HVAC or some way of maintaining a temperture suitable for both cigars and wine..

I have a problem with water leaking underneath my garage door when it rains. Water comes down from the roof, splashes off the ground and up against the door and gathers underneath the door on my garage floor. I have seen garage door theshold sealers like this Does anyone have any experience with these or can anyone recommend me something that will solve my problem?
whats the condition of your weather seal on the bottom of the door? if its worn out replace and you may need to adjust the tension on the opener so it closes more tightly to the floor

I didn’t eat meat for nearly 15 years. Never been much of a cook. But I’m trying to start actually cooking things that don’t go from a box to a microwave.
I’m sure actually cooking the thing isn’t complicated, but I have no idea what to put on it… how long to cook it, etc.
get the george foreman grill. Best grill ever for non-cooks.
Just grill for a few minutes and cut into it to see if its done in the middle.
I guess I’m looking more for how to flavor it.

Anyone have any? I want to make some patio furniture and am looking for some plans. Does anyone know where I can find free plans?
Thanks
True mission style furniture is very simple. I have no idea where to find free plans but it shouldn’t be very difficult to design your own from looking at existing mission furniture you like.
